This is Malcolm, 60 years ago, at the Oxford Union Debate on December 3, 1964, after he’d renounced the Nation of Islam and traveled to Mecca.

Elsewhere, Malcolm characterized his NOI period as being a “hypnotized zombie” and a “ventriloquist’s dummy.” He was assassinated just two months after the Oxford Debate, on February 21, 1965.
